With over 25 years in applied sport science, Tara McNeil is a trusted performance advisor known for her work in sustainable athletic development and career longevity. Her expertise spans elite and amateur levels – from the NHL to Olympic sliding sports – where she has designed athlete development frameworks, mentored coaches, and advised national and professional teams.
Tara holds a Master of Kinesiology in Exercise Physiology from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from Dalhousie University. She brings additional specialization as a Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) Specialist, Cardiac Rehab Specialist, Applied Sport Physiologist, and Athlete Development Specialist.
As the founder of Red Horse Performance Consulting and a long-time contributor to organizations like Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton, Tara blends evidence-based practice with field-tested insight to help athletes perform at their peak.. and stay there longer.
