    With over 25 years in applied sport science, Tara McNeil is a trusted performance advisor known for her work in sustainable athletic development and career longevity. Her expertise spans elite and amateur levels—from the NHL to Olympic sliding sports—where she has designed athlete development frameworks, mentored coaches, and advised national and professional teams.

    Tara holds a Master of Kinesiology in Exercise Physiology from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from Dalhousie University. She brings additional specialization as a Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) Specialist, Cardiac Rehab Specialist, Applied Sport Physiologist, and Athlete Development Specialist.

    As the founder of Red Horse Performance Consulting and a long-time contributor to organizations like Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton, Tara blends evidence-based practice with field-tested insight to help athletes perform at their peak—and stay there longer.

    Her leadership in initiatives like the CFL-KPMG ‘Women in Football’ program continues to shape the future of high-performance sport in Canada and beyond.
